
The Rottenwood Creek trail connects the Chattahoochee River trail in West Palisades with the Bob Callan trail and as you may have guessed it follows the Rottenwood Creek which powered the old Akers Mill and provides minor cascades for us to enjoy along the way for much of the hike.

At 2pm on Wednesday, February 11, a park visitor reported that there were dead fish lying in the bottom of the creek.
